Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 18, 2026

1. Introduction

Creative Bandit, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the websitecreativebandit.studio (our "Website") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website, including information:

  • Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other details you provide when filling out forms on our site.
  • Technical Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this Website.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our Website, products, and services.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us, such as filling out our contact form or submitting a URL to the site scanner.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the site. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us:

  • To present our Website and its contents to you.
  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us, such as responding to an inquiry or returning the results of a scan you ran.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • To notify you about changes to our Website or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
  • For marketing purposes, if you have opted in to receive such communications.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to manage email communications, and to process forms.

  • Web3Forms: We use Web3Forms to manage our contact form submissions. Data submitted through our forms is processed by Web3Forms in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Resend: We use Resend to send email. This covers two things. If you ask us to email you a copy of a scan report, Resend delivers that one message and we do not add you to any list. Separately, if you subscribe to our list, Resend stores your address for that purpose until you unsubscribe, and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link.
  • Vercel: Our hosting provider. Serving any page on this site involves Vercel receiving the request, including your IP address, in the ordinary course of delivering it.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie, assigns you no persistent identifier, and does not follow you to any other site. It records the page you viewed, the referring site, and coarse details such as country, browser and device type, with your IP address anonymised rather than stored. It is served from this domain rather than a third-party host.

We do not run Google Analytics, any advertising tracker, or any cross-site or behavioural profiling on this site. We do not sell or share what we collect. Because our analytics is cookieless and stores nothing on your device, this site sets no tracking cookies and shows you no cookie banner.

6. The Free Site Scanner

The scanner at /scan lets you submit a URL for a website you manage, or have permission to scan, so we can check how AI assistants can and cannot use it. When you run a scan:

  • What we fetch and why. Our servers make requests to the URL you provide - the homepage, robots.txt, a sitemap, and a sample of up to about 24 pages - to detect things like crawler access, structured data, metadata quality, and feed availability. We identify ourselves with a scanner User-Agent that names this tool.
  • Crawler identification. To detect whether a site blocks AI crawlers at the network edge, a small number of those requests carry a User-Agent naming the relevant crawler alongside our own. These requests may appear in the scanned site's access logs.
  • What we ask you for. The URL, and your confirmation that you manage the site or have permission to scan it. There is no account, and no email address is required to run a scan or to read the findings.
  • If you ask us to email the report. Once the findings are on screen you can optionally give us an address to send a copy to. That is used for that one email and nothing else: it does not subscribe you to anything, and we do not add it to a list. The findings are passed back to our server to be mailed and are not retained afterwards.
  • What we store. Findings are generated and returned to your browser. We do not currently store scan results, submitted URLs, or the page content we fetched once the request has finished. Standard server logs may record the request in the ordinary course of running the site.
  • Third parties. Running a scan reveals the URL you tested and the time of the request to our hosting provider (Vercel), in the normal course of serving the request.
  • Rate limits. We limit how many scans can be run from a single source address, to keep the scanner free and to stop it being pointed at someone else's site in volume.
  • Third-party sites. Scanning a site you do not manage may breach that site's terms of use. You are responsible for confirming you have permission before running a scan.

This section will be updated if the scanner starts storing results or emailing reports.

7. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website.

  • Request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
